Hurler is a translocated herbicide for weeds in grassland and cereals
Excellent product for chickweed (Stellaria media), and cleavers (Galium aparine) - very useful on docks and nettles pre-flowering
Suitable for spraying weeds in newly sown grassland. Hurler is not safe to clover.
Useful option to tank mix with other herbicides eg PastureMaster or Thrust to broaden weed spectrum and supercharge effect on some tricky weeds.
Key points:
- Apply through a boom sprayer
- Ensure weeds to be sprayed have sufficient leaf cover
- Controls Chickweed in newly sown leys
- Docks & nettles are best treated pre-flowering

Application notes and guidance:
- Apply as a medium quality spray (BCPC)
- Do not roll or harrow ground for seven days before or after spraying
- Spray grassland with water volumes between 200-400 L/ha
- Do not sow peas, beans, clovers or any other legume for 12 months on land treated with Hurler
Tank Mix:
- Suitable for tank mixing with different selective products
- With PastureMaster for boom sprayers combine 0.5L Hurler with 2.5L of PastureMaster in 200-400 L water to cover 10,000m2
- With Thrust for boom sprayers combine 1.0L of Hurler with 2.5 L of Thrust in 200-400L of water to cover 10,000m2
- With Thrust for knapsack sprayers combine 80ml of Hurler with 200ml of Thrust in 20L of water to cover 500m2
- Do NOT tank mix when spraying at the full rate (2 L/ ha: Grassland)
- Read tank mix instructions carefully on the bottle & the tank mix product
- Add Hurler to the tank first.
Growing Conditions:
Best results are achieved against small weeds growing actively under warm, moist conditions; these conditions are particularly important for the control of cleavers. Ensure that crops are vigorous with growth unaffected by frost, pests, disease, nutrient deficiency or moisture stress before treatment. Do not treat waterlogged crops or crops under drought stress
